At this point I think it is about getting the tax cuts passed and then having a scapegoat. The cuts will be massively unpopular and the republicans that dont retire will blame Trump for them. They all know he's dangerous, they just don't care because tax cuts are more important.

They definitely want those tax cuts, as well as disregulating industry. I think there's also a "social" agenda being pushed - bigotry, racism and misogyny permeate their ideology.

No doubt, I just think the "establishment" Republicans will use Trump to avoid taking the blame for all the destruction these policies will cause, even though it's been a republican wet dream forever. They'll say "the trump tax plan? He was a crazy old fuck, remember?"

I read this childish tweet in disbelief, and then thought again that I wish journalists would challenge Trump when Trump says "Fake News." They should ask him specifically why he thinks something was FAKE and then be ready to call him on it as NOT fake.
