I agree. When we Democrats and liberals do not call for our own to resign over sexual misconduct, we lose all legitimacy in calling for Republicans and conservatives to do the the same thing.

I agree with this, but cleaning house with zero tolerance identity politics isn't going to bring us a utopian society, it will bring us trickle down economics, war, starvation and environmental catastrophe.

It also won’t do much to stop harassment except by celebrities and politicians. Mandatory reporting of complaints and settlements is needed.
