And shame on Congress as an institution for protecting Conyers and all the others who’ve settled sexual harassment cases over the years. It’s our money; the public deserves to know what it’s being spent to hush up.
Just finished reading this horrible report, including all of the affidavits, of the sexual harassment of staffers from Congressman @RepJohnConyers.
This should've been public a long time ago.
Shame on him and those who protected him all these years.

That looks like a typical "manage them out" severance contract. 2-3 months pay, subject to taxes, of course. They simply added the Conyers Clause. Hardly proper for harassment settlement/agreement, with a US Congressman, no less.
