I never said they were in power, but to condemn one without considering the other is just as bad as making generalizations. Or, maybe the idea is to alienate one group with the excuse of blaming them?

Trump's extreme narcissism means that attention, praise, gratitude from others are his driving forces bcuz he's so deeply insecure (why he constantly self-promotes). It makes him extremely easy to manipulate, as Putin, Kim, & others demonstrate.

This is yet another demonstration of the fact that he does things for power, recognition and oneupmanship, never for the greater good. If he had truly believed in the moral/political stance the US was taking on this, it wouldn’t matter who said what about whom.
