There's no avoiding the fragility of the human condition. Healthcare should be the democrats' top priority, and every citizen should have access. This is nothing more than sanctioned euthanasia.

I'm a few years behind you, and I completely agree. It's terrifying. You can determine the moral fiber of a nation by how it treats its most vulnerable people.

My wife and I discussed both of these issues at dinner last night. In fact, I just tweeted about a victory for black bears and mountain lions. We are failing our citizens and the world.

I have lived in three countries with universal healthcare and received cancer treatment twice and a hip replacement and NEVER ONCE filled out an insurance form or even worried about who was going to pay for my care or whether or not I could afford treatment. This is shameful.
-
FYI: those countries are Britain, Canada and France.

No one is an illegal human. People in countries with universal healthcare get seen in order of their need. Just as many non-white people in Toronto as there are white, & it has been like that for decades. Canadians of all colours are proud of our diversity. You are uninformed.

Of course she is uniformed..like most of Trump supporters

Yeah... it's pretty irritating that I cannot find any of these individuals in the real world. They are all hiding amongst us, voicing their opinions anonymously. Setting our nation back decades.
-
The idea that the nation is set back is the err, it has never truly progressed.

Everyone will be sympathetic, say tsk, tsk. Some will shake their head and others will express their sorrow. Then they'll all go and vote Republican.

Lola, just out of curiosity; How do one take personal responsibility regarding kidney failiure? Or cancer? Or accidents?

Oh you will here crickets on that one. This is why I refuse to walk into a church. Some of the most vile people in my life have called themselves "Christians!"

They feel if they confess their sins they are forgiven but that doesn’t mean they have to learn anything from their mistakes or wrongdoing, they can just keep on sinning and Jesus keeps on magically shouldering the burden.
