I'm saddest for the women and girls brought up in these kinds of churches being taught to have no respect for themselves and their fellow sisters. By being brainwashed to believe they are worthless sex toys of men, they perpetuate the patriarchy for generations.

And the unflinching belief that church-going men don't commit sexual assault, domestic and child abuse simply enables the perpetrators. And prevents victims from coming forward or seeking help.

I found this telling. Roy Moore's wife is the same age as some of the women accusing him, and some were at same school same year as her. Roy got married when he was 38, wife was 24 and he says he had 'noticed' her many years before at a school recital.http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2017/11/when_did_roy_moore_meet_his_wi.html …

Alabama still lives in the mentality of slave and slave master... they prove it every day... one of the reasons I don't believe in organized religion is the fact that religion is used to justify every immoral act man has ever done... I believe in God but not in religion....

I'm right there with you. Love God but can't tolerate the hypocrisy seen in churches.

Thank you for pointing that out again, people tend to conveniently forget that the KKK hid behind the Bible, and still do.
