Frankly, no because it's Alabama. My point is your readers are lead to believe these pastors are supporting him AFTER this news came out, painting them in a light that might not be accurate, and no one is even reading the article to see that's not true. The truth is bad enough.

So take that up with the 5k people you assumed didn't read.

I thought it’d be more appropriate to address it to the person who intentionally wrote his tweet like that knowing people would RT it without reading.

I want Roy Moore to go down in literal flames, but people need to read past the headline. This letter is from a while (yrs) ago, reposted now on purpose by his wife. Pastors on it have stated their anger, saying they stopped supporting him as soon as allegations came to light.

Amen @ShaunKing. In the study of language we learn that the meaning of a word is how it’s used in a sentence. This applies to the study of religion. I would tell my students, don’t look at what a “believer” says, look at what they mean when they say it.

I think it's a great question. It could very well be systemic not unlike the Catholic priests. Power, intimidation & a reputation of trust amongst community members is the perfect disguise. I believe it is a problem that MUST be probed
