Jimmy Lee Jackson was killed. Mrs. Amelia Boynton was manhandled by Sheriff Jim Clark when she tried to register to vote. The DOJ showed that the Black Belt Counties had single digit black registration. Lowndes had zero percent.
Right. Shocking to see the Secretary of State even say this. Just wow.
