I've had the cops point guns at me because I was deescalating a situation with a patient. Cops need to learn it's okay to back the fuck off

many will - but like I said too many don't. Always glad to see good deescaltion work by cops on youtube vids

The sad part is honestly, deescalation is easy. Just leave your ego at the door and realize the other person is human and you are 90% there
