Agreed. Ive fallen out w/ baseball (only really pay attention during playoffs) but this is a facet ive always loved.

Exactly. Now I know why old parks like Fenway had weird dimensions, not sure why Astros chose to build their park like this

While it keeps the home team from getting home runs it also cuts down on the visiting team getting them. So it balances out.
