I'm surprised he didn't use a plantation analogy.

That's EXACTLY what I said!

Jail is seen as more respectable and PC...
-
Jail is the plantation replacement. Once slavery ended, they found another way to get free labor...jails -the new plantation.

No surprise, but of all of the NFL owners McNair was the biggest donor to Trump.

He and Jerry probably fought over it

This is on the players to put these owners in there place. Make them realize tbey are nothing without players. Don't let this go.
-
I agree with you!! Stand and fight. United we stand divide we fall!!!!
-
*kneel and fight :)

Or the wealthy blacks pool up and buy their own team, and sign up the R Wilson, T Gurley, OBJ, and so on. Can u imagine?
-
Yes, I can imagine it. Forming a black league is not a bad idea. It would take time but anything is possible.
-
How would forming an all black league help with any kind of progress? Wouldn’t that just make it worse?
-
I dont know. It was only a suggestion.i didn't say I had the answers. I just know that owner shouldn't be allowed to get away with this.
-
You can’t make the owners change. Can’t teach old dogs new tricks. But you can hope and work with people who may be future owners to start

So an owner calls his players "the inmates" how profound. If I was on that team and a black player I would be kneeling.
-
Or not playing...well
-
Yes I would just sit out and demand a trade from a team owner like him.
-
What makes you think all the owners don’t think the same way?
