On an average day I receive nearly 1,000 genuinely overt racist/bigoted pieces of actual mail, email, or messages. Most ever in my life.

Is it "worse" Or is it "open?" I feel like "open." This generation doesn't have "that unifying 'Black Leader'" earlier ones did, which is a good thing because this country tends to kill them. But anyone who even partially shares that mantle needs to take care. So: take care.
