The @NFL began in 1922. Players only had to be on the field for the anthem after 2009. Where were all these “patriots” for 8 decades?

They did that until the government started paying the NFL to make their games more “patriotic”

People keep forgetting that. Only since 2009 have they been on the field. Budget cuts! Quit paying for patriotic shows

All cowboys should kneel next week. I want to say Jones throw a pass.

It's time for teammates to support one another -- they all need to take a knee. Stronger together.

The anthem has no part in football. NFL should get rid of it. I hope all players and fans boycott until the players get their rights back.

We all know what’s gonna happen. In an effort to stop the protest the Anthem will no longer be televised.

The owners are afraid that the players will find out the truth: The players have all the power.
