All athelets of good conscience should simply shut down the entire
#NFL.#WeThePeople need to wake up and demand a more perfect union. -
Exactly! The players have so much power. Without players there is no NFL.
-
Yes. In essence, the field slave AND the house negros (NFL athletes) need to realize that they outnumbered the slavers 10 to 1.
-
Right!!! Once they stand together and demand respect this will only continue.
-
A non violent revolution is force America to abandon the 3 evils and actually following the Constitution, civil rights, and the rule of law.
-
I agree 200% . It's so beyond football and flags. This is actually scary to me
-
This is the real America. Many people are just recently being introduced to it. The flag and the anthem are symbols w/out substance.

This will never happen. They will need the non-black players to get involved and they've, for the most part, have been hesitate. Sucks...
-
White players won't be able to carry the league... JS
-
I agree, but the unity would be a stronger message.
-
There was what, one white player that kneeled? There isn't unity. Only fear of losing racist fans.
-
There were two. They both had black significant others. Only one of them was a "star" player.
-
Only two?! Wow...
-
Yup! That's it.

Owners caving & "doing what trump asked" is cowardly & illegal. Constitutional rights protect them.

1st amendment?? No?
-
yes 1st amendment. you have a job, your boss (nfl owners) tell you to do something, you say no. boss fires you.
-
I don't see how your constitutional rights completely go away at work. Especially when there was nothing saying they HAD to stand
-
The Constitution protects you from government intrusion However, POTUS pressured teams to do this, so a 1st amdnmnt argument eixsts
-
if the league implements policy, and a player sues the league, the supreme court would decide if gov't pressured nfl. good luck proving it.
-
Yeah... it would be super hard to prove that POTUS pressured NFL owners- we'd only have multiple videos of him doing it. Tough case indeed
-
Just a few videos & a press conference...nothing too significant
-
okay! remember this convo when it happens and tell me how easy it is to prove.
