Talking about this lad just today. We all assumed his murder would be a huge turning point, because he was so obviously an innocent child.

Tamir's murder did me in. Reading cop apologists blame a child for holding a toy gun stirred up rage in me never felt before. Our America.

Frustration.

This death shone a light on the ones before, when haters made excuses: 'Cop must've been afraid'. Child with toy, in an open carry state.

My people are supporting summary executions of unarmed men and children by public servants to we are taught to trust. Over and over.

Memories blocked: Tamir bleeds out while cops joke, refuse to allow EMTs to help; cuffing distraught Mom, don't allow her or sis to be w/him

Any one with a child who ever played in a park must've felt that moment, no matter what they said later to their friends about it.

While I disagree with players taking a knee and consider myself somewhat conservative that is absolutely disgusting!

I just feel like everyone should stand but I understand their reasons for protesting, It is their first amendment right so I am ok with it
