My twin is deaf. The numerus similar stories in the deaf community are heart breaking. The cop needs to be fired immediately.

And prosecuted for murder, since he was informed the person was deaf and shot anyway.

And regardless whether he was Deaf, why not just tazer him?!? Why shoot SIX times??

It was another Cop1 tazes and Cop2 shoots simultaneously. It's like they do it on purpose now.

that 2 cops were on different stages of escalation shows lack of oversight and training!!

Damn we need much, much higher standards for our law enforcement officials

Or, you know, an actual conviction and prison.

Unreal how we never, ever get that.

The person being arrested has to stay calm & follow orders. The police can be out of control and they still blame the person that is shot.

Its true. We untrained civilians have to remain extremely calm and slow movements with guns in our faces and screaming at us

Often with conflicting orders. Get down, don't move, come here, don't resist. It goes on and on:

Why don't the cops know the law? You can do everything they want & still get shot. If they have a mental problems they still get shot.

They know the law but they feel they are above the law.

This is sad and disturbing. Police need a new training system.

They act like they are trained to kill instead of trained to protect.

And that just might be it!! Shoot first, ask questions later. They live to see another day..... To kill someone else.
