Isn't it a tad hypocritical for CJ reformers to laud a pro-carceral manhunt, no matter how disgusting the object of that search might be?
No. We believe people should be held accountable for violent assaults AND think the system is in need of serious reforms.

Unclear how throwing him into an inhumane system that will likely only him more hateful and violent is a satisfying form of accountability.

Definitely not satisfying. But even reformers/overhaulers *I think* believe there's limited role 4 police/incarceration in certain cases.
