When my 10 year old son & I attended Colin's first @yourrightscamp - he was up past 2am, during a bi-week, packing book bags for kids.

I'd encourage @Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie to be in a room full of children when Colin Kapernick walks into it. He is a deep HERO to them.

I've seen 500 kids sit silently and attentively for HOURS as they learned about their history, health, finances, and more @yourrightscamp

I've seen Colin Kaepernick study hundreds of grassroots charities in America to evaluate how he can best support their work on the ground.

I've gotten the texts from Colin asking, "Shaun, who is on the ground protecting immigrants. What do they need? How can I help?"

I've directly connected Colin w/ families affected by police brutality and been there when he called them to console them and send his love.

And stop this foolishness about Colin protesting and not having a plan. You just don't know the plan because you don't care to know it.

Colin is perhaps the most meticulous and organized athlete I've ever worked with. And he does so with a peaceful grace & warmth & kindness.

I've seen Colin try to track down exactly how much money his jersey sales are making so that he can be sure to give every cent to charity.

I've seen Colin daily be compared to criminals and men who've murdered and maimed and raped - and for him to keep his cool & keep doing good
