Sigh... It's a difficult idea to wrap my head around. I'll hear them say things and question other ideas they've pushed with their authority

Mostly with how they've treated me in light of a mental illness diagnosis. Game theory depends on the assumption that others act reasonably.

But maybe that's been my mistake since the start. To assume they have good reasons in part of their lives & advocate nuclear war in others.

Both sides of the family remarried. Both sides voted for Trump. Neither of them seem interested in listening, but hijack and change subjects

I gave up on having a connection through ideas a long time ago, which is unfortunate because that's my identity. I consider myself a writer.
