Do it at night without any publicity. They might not even notice. Leave a tasteful ceramic owl in its place. Or a huge Precious Moments.

Hell most of them have just gone up since the 1920s! They aren't heritage, they are hate!

It's worse than that. They weren't put up in 1865. They were put up in 1965 to defy civil rights gains.pic.twitter.com/lZyjcXumfb

To be 'fair,' a lot of them only went up in the 1960s, as a means of white protest against the Civil Rights movement.

The monuments haven't been up that long...they started around 1890. AZ has Confederate Monuments. AZ became achieved Statehood in 1912.
-
AZ was still.part of Mexico back then? So would statue of Pancho Via be just as inflammatory to the Nazi swilling crowd?
-
Villa not Via Arizona Confederate Veterans Monument in Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix, erected in 1999, so no, not part of Mexico

Eh, for what, elections? What is the point of winning an election but living under the eyes of emblems of slavery
-
Yes, for elections they're incredibly important. The confederate flag came down in my city but trump still got elected !!
-
I want these symbols gone too I just get worried if we go around and start tearing them down by force it will backfire
