Let it be clear: An American citizen was killed in her own country by Nazis, and our own president barely considers this noteworthy.

Nazis marched to preserve a confederate statue and killed an American while doing so. Should be reason enough for that statue to come down.

I don't advocate for removing #Confederate monuments forcibly...but henceforth: this murder & these Nazis are what those statues represent.

No reason why they cant just put it all in a confederate museum.

I never understood having monuments of losers though?

There are lots of museums documenting terrible things, they're not for those things, just recording that they occurred.

So it could be a great museum. Picture the Articles of Secession carved onto stone walls with every mention of slave/slavery highlighted.

All 80+ mentions. Then show the words of Frederick Douglass, of Wilberforce, show accounts of what was done to slaves, etc.

Yesterday was a shameful day for America, this beautiful & engaged young woman should never be forgotten

I hope that @MassAGO and other leadership are able to put an injunction given the acts of domestic terror.

This is scandalous. In 2017 a young woman killed by Neo-Nazis in the US and the President says/does nothing. Shame on you,Trump.

He is loyal to his base. They'd support him if he murdered someone in the street, so he's returning the same loyalty.
