There's a concern w frequently positioning Bernie as great D leader when really he does attack Ds as outsider vs joining & pulling Ds left.

Not saying he doesn't have good ideas (I voted for him in primary). Just that his (& his supporters') approach is more divisive.

We're up agst 150+ years of animus & (arbitrarily starting w failed Reconstruction). More we ackn our shared values, more we can push back.

So sure, Harris has to win over left-wing folks. But btwn Enlightenment values vs Feudalism, we need to rise above intra-left bitterness.

We need to start nominating candidates who aren't compromised by donor $. After 2016 primaries, DNC not in a position to make that decision.

So... Since DNC runs Dem Party, what happens? Let GOP win 18 & 20, gain Amendment majority, and change Const for worse? That's the ballgame.

No, it's called LISTEN TO PROGRESSIVE VOICES for once instead of ramming another compromised candidate down our throats.

And... Surely you'd agree those voices would be heard better from within the building vs from across the street, no?

Kamala Harris is a great candidate. Bernie Sanders is a great candidate. Support who you want and quit demonizing others. Pretty simple.

But there is the very obvious issue of: if they don't identify as democrats, why even bother slandering Harris?

That's the issue I have with Bernie and his diehard followers. They don't want to be a part of the Democratic Party yet they insist

On telling Dems how the party should operate. Doesn't make sense...

Because dems are 25% of voters in a two party monopoly. They want the party to more responsive, disingenuous to expect all to go 3rd party.

Well Bernie fans identify as independent anyway. All I'm saying is him being "the most popular" politician should translate into

Ability to shift to a third party base with ease.

Can you name the last successful sustaining national 3rd party? They don't exist because of a winner take all 2 party monopoly.
