I dropped out from watching football several years ago because of the trauma it causes.

This gentleman will soon be a graduate from MIT it's not like he's the average football player getting by on a sport scholarship

Heartbreaking, but a good friend who played defensive for Bengals in early 90's can barely walk and his brain looks like Swiss cheese...

As a lifelong football fan, I don't feel the same passion anymore...I worry more about former players w/health issues, than I do about wins.

Good for them. They know the risks associated with profession now better than ever. I won't judge either way, but don't play and cry later
