International #adoptees parents are responsible for getting their children citizenship. Not the children. Very hard to do after age 18.

Adoptees should be forever sons & daughters. Some mess up, serve time. They shouldn't be deported b/c parents failed to get citizenship

Phillip Clay isn't the first adoptee to die after deportation. Joao Herbert was killed in Brazil. He'd sold a tiny amount of weed in Ohio.

I was also adopted from Korea to the U.S., and this could've easily happened to me and the 200,000 others of us as well.

There are so many things wrong with international adoptions to the U.S., and this is a clear example of one of them.

Back then, citizenship wasn't part of the adoption process and parents either didn't know or neglected to apply. 1/2

Lots of adoptees are shocked to find out they were never naturalized.

I see what you tried to do here. You know Obama admin had him deported but you know most ppl will just read headline and think Trump.

Happened in 2012. Many problems with Obama deportation policy too!
