@StefanTurk It's difficult to come up with words (positive and negative) relating to masculinity which aren't tied up with bad things.

Trying to call into question someone's manliness without comparing them to a gay man or a woman you end up with words like "feeble".
-
You end up almost Shakespearean, which is tough to yell out at other drivers on the highway. "Thou feeble varlet!"

We first have to define masculinity without tying it strength and hardness. But then again, what is it if not that?
-
Men have no more ownership of masculinity than women own femininity. It's like trying to define GOD as a man or woman.

The concept of hard and soft as a positive and negative is misleading. I've found the "hardest" are often the most insecure. Bravado shield

Idk if it's a requirement but an expectation, being able to defend yourself is the context. Words, physically, mentally whichever.
