It was a terrible bill that would have bankrupted California and turned it into another Venezuela.

Like how something 2x the cost of current state budget was going to be financed. If they wanted to gauge support, push a resolution.

To do single payer in the national eye means you need to put together a good bill. Not rush one through. Now it's delayed another year.
