Our justice system is going to shit.

The criminal justice system is working exactly as designed; to say that it's "going to shit" implies that people of color ever had justice.
-
The judicial branch has been a major letdown for the last couple years. Money is law nowadays
-
Money is law. That's the best way to put that.

"Justice in America." Every trial where this happens is a reminder to cops that they can do what they want with no fear of repercussions.

white ppl here scared abt "rioting." no "rioting" in other cities w/ unjust verdicts this week. i'm ashamed of my hometown, my country.
-
my only complaint about riots is...
I mean,
why treat up the same shirt where u live at?
that's all... -
sure. there are probably more productive ways to do this. however i am NOT going to tell people of color how to respond to anything.

With a legal gun, illegal gun or unarmed; cops have declared open season on Blacks without fear of reprisal. We need better cops 2 speak up!

In all these acquittals, it feels like prosecutors don't want a conviction. If they wanted one they'd fight harder.
-
If they wanted a guilty they would charge RT correctly. Intent is weighed in US-didn't meet legal definition of murder.
-
Uhhh yeah that's what she's saying. Bringing charges they KNOW they won't get a guilty verdict is being lazy.
-
She said they would have fought harder. Not the same as they should have charged him properly.
-
What can I say? 140 chars limits the perfect choice of words sometimes. Suffice it to say if they wanted convictions, we'd see convictions.
