Sorry. Have to disagree. This type of generalisation of few incidents is exactly what trump is doing wrt terrorism.

Many fundamentalists home school their children, indoctrinating them with racist and hateful ideas. Teachers are too liberal for them. Sad.

The incident is disgusting. I feel that public school helped me be more educated on diff cultures, races etc. Perhaps region is an issue.

It's possible to do both-homeschooling and public schooling. Kids can take courses part time.

While I don't disagree with your or Malcolm X's statements, many fools also teach their children pure creationism; the knife cuts both ways.

Whole situation makes me sad. The vast majority of schools and teachers love children/all cultures and that is why we do what we do!

Homeschooling isn't exactly easy to do. Requires time and resources people don't always have#

Have you written about homeschooling experience from you as a parent perspective? Would love to read more on it. Thanks for what you do.

I need to find a good resource to guide me (as a white parent of white children) on what to look out for, for those students who remain.

Having said that, it makes perfect sense to take over if you feel there are no safe & healthy options for your children.

All relative. There is no perfect solution. Homeschooling has benefits and negatives just like conventional schooling. 1/2

One also has to look at each child and how they respond. Most importantly, are the parents (teachers) up to the task; not everyone is. 2/2

Not impressed by the "enemy" word used Its More believable of uninvolved parents are at fault

So... You advocate for government funded education but won't send your own children?
