I say not on the weekend. It would bar Sabbath keepers (like me) from voting. Easier access, by removing voter ID laws etc. Is better.

Have Pre Poll voting for those who work, are too ill, or religious. It's how we do it in Australia. We vote on Saturdays 8am-6pm.
