Sincerely hope he's convicted and is punished accordingly. He cannot be allowed to get away with murdering an innocent child.

I want to be optimistic but officers in similar cases have been acquitted when conviction should have been all but certain.

The prosecutor won't try hard for a conviction, the judge will side heavily w the defense & he'll get a jury of 'peers', where I couldn't.
