CA is doing preregistration for 16 year olds .They register at 16 and the day they turn 18 they are automatically registered.

Oregon also has a bill, SB 802, cycling through the legislature which would allow 16 year olds to preregister.

But registering is not the same as getting them to vote.

Yeah. Voter ID laws are disgusting right now, but if a potential voter starts the process early enough, there's a chance.
