To start, the biggest reason I caucused for him was to help push the conversation in a more progressive direction.

But I always knew I'd vote for Hillary when the time came, and do so proudly.

When he dragged out the nomination battle for months past the point of electoral viability, he proved that he wasn't interested in progress.

He weakened Hillary, stoked the false narrative of her corruption, and gave license to winnable moderate Rs to hate Hillary too.

And that's when I realized that, for all his idealism, he never explained how he'd do anything. He was a stump speech in a ill-fitting suit.

DEMs need somebody younger.
