Over the past month, multiple families impacted by police violence, and their attorneys, called me and said they were so taken aback and confused when @Deray asked them to speak out against me.
They each refused and called me right away.
It’s an undue stress on them. I hate it.
On a few occasions over the past 3 years, I’ve offered a public & private olive branch with @Deray.
Civil rights elders and mediators asked me to do so, and I did.
He refused each time.
Even today, he has erased the 50+ families who openly said I did nothing but support them.
I welcome sincere critiques. Earnestly so. Every project I am a part of has layers upon layers of accountability and transparency. It’s all here. 72 pages. Nobody was paid for this report. You're doing exactly what the article accuses you of, deflecting. He's very clearly accused you of a lack of transparency. This tweet doesn't disprove his claim. Have any of the organizations you've lead produced an annual report available for public inspection?

So you have one cumulative report for all your organizations? Why not just file your form 990 with the IRS for each organization? Why not just convene your board and answer their questions? Is it true that you formed an oversight committee of friends?
Did you falsely claim you had retained multiple lawyers to sue the woman referenced in the article? Have you delivered the podcast or newspaper you promised?
