The death penalty is declining across the country. Of the D presidential candidates, only Biden supports it. But OR’s Governor, @OregonGovBrown, is calling a special session that could re-EXPAND its use. She should commute death row instead. We don’t need another Biden in Oregon.

Don't know. In cases of mass shootings or where there is overwhelming witnesses or video evidence. I'm for it. Just not the 10 year wait on death row.

TODAY in USA w/ MAX security prisons that NO ONE can get out of(unless someone lets them out)=we could make legal argument that such is "cruel". I feel highest penalty USA GOV should give is LIFE IN PRISON w/inmates OPTION to choose death in lieu of prison.(Dr assisted suicide)

We just gotta execute everyone who’s been proven guilty and is on death row. It’s more cruel to put people through this phycological hardship as it is. Like either do it or don’t. But don’t just make them wait. I know if it were me I’d go crazy with the back and forth.

Ur info is misleading. She isn’t removing the moratorium on the death penalty. They have gotten rid of it for future cases. The 31 people currently on death row in Oregon will never be put to death by a DEM. Please get your facts straight

Keep capital punishment in place. The death penalty is a punishment that fits the crime of murder; it is neither ‘cruel’ nor ‘unusual.’ Executing a murderer is the appropriate punishment for taking an innocent life.
