.@JoeBiden did not praise a segregationist. That is a disingenuous take. He basically said sometimes in Congress, one has to work with terrible or down right racist folks to get things done. And then went on to say when you can't work with them, work around them.
The only prominent person I see agreeing with your take is Ben Shapiro. Historians. Multiple campaigns. Political scientists w/ no stake in this. All said it was problematic. I had hoped he’d acknowledge some wrong here. Say that he understands the pain. But instead, nothing.
