The media needs to do a better job of vetting Trump threats from Trump actions. This is the thing he does when he gets bad internal polling and feels like he has to gin up his base. Issue a threat with nothing behind it. DHS hadn't been notified of this. It's a flail move.

Think about it, he's about to do his campaign launch tonight and he's going full red-meat mode to whip his base into a frenzy. He gets to stand on stage tonight and say that the deportations start next week when there's no plan for any deportations next week.

Its nonsense. This is for the base. Even if they rounded up people, there is nowhere to put them, the camps are full.. This is this years version of 'caravans'. And this frightens the people who are here undocumented, to boot..

This is ICE serving existing deportation orders. The idea is to execute a large number of them at once as a show of force. DHS really doesn't care much about what to do with them after the operation. It would not be out of the question to expect that many of them will be released
