Is it true that you won’t sign a bill to legalize money if any tax revenue goes back to impact communities ravaged by the war on drugs?
I keep hearing this, but that can’t be true. Surely you know the toll the War on Drugs took on these communities?

Not to mention the changes we need made to end cash bail and ensure due process to our state's citizens. 25,000 people in NY jails - 70% have not even been convicted of a crime. As always, these issues disproportionately impact our black and brown brothers and sisters.

@shaunking you're a smart man. Even you, deep down, know that selling drugs in our most vulnerable communities is not the answer. Legalization has helped 0% in legal states. The pot industry doesn't care about us minorities, they care about profits. Decriminalize, don't legalize. -
