before you do, please talk to those who were present or the Canadian media. What was presented on the American broadcast was very different.

What was the difference between the two media broadcast?!
-
Most people cheered for the steal and dunk/basket on the other end! We realized it was serious when he was picked up by his teammates!

Really fucked up. My ten and eight year old kids were appalled.

I know you like your hot takes but it would be wrong not to mention that once they knew the extent to the injury it turned to clapping and cheering for him.

Sure... but also -- these are the same fans that applauded
@BarackObama , gave him a standing O, and chanted MVP. Call me when@JustinTrudeau gets that treatment in any US arena.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Unfortunately Toronto sports fans are well known for their rudeness and arrogance. Please don't equate individuals in the arena who could afford an exorbitant amount for the tickets 2 the rest of Canada and the rest of the Raptors fans who were outside and sharing from all over.
-
That’s just not true. Even the Warrior’s coach has commented how nice the Toronto fans are to them.
-
It is true. Well known in fact. But, never said all. Just many. Just meant dont the orchard by s few bad apples.
-
Lol sorry not enough coffee....dont judge the orchard by a few bad apples

Agree that some of the fans were classless douchebags. Also keep in mind however that Canadians applaud injured athletes as they are taken off the field. This is a show of respect.

I’m a Torontonian and I’m so disheartened by this display. To avoid cynicism am trying to believe that the spirit of the game got the best of them- aka “mob mentality.” They did switch from that to a “KD” chant moments later after being scolded by the Raps. No excuse though.

Go easy on them. Knowing Canada they'll probably issue a national apology later today lol.

Oh please stop. It's like adding fuel to the fire. I watched the game with many and chatted with many about this incident. NOONE was happy that KD was injured. Everyone reacted to Ibaka's steal and went with the momentum. The injury was noticed after and the reaction changed.
