Bro it was heat of the moment..the fans in Toronto are all class..why do you get off on division so much? The players (Raptors) asked them to stop they did

That’s the point. It took the players to get them to stop.
-
Some fans cheered. There are jerks in every city. People would have cheered anywhere. The Toronto fans also clapped as he walked off. That is a sign of respect.
-
But they started cheering when he dropped the ball and the raptors got it and took off down the court. The camera even followed the players. I doubt they even knew he was he injured in the heat of the moment.
-
Nah. Watch the clip again. After the dead ball almost every fan in the Fran was either waving or jeering at KD or both. Like the vast majority.

Canadian fans always cheer when injured players get up as a sign of respect. We do it in hockey too. Just because we want to win, doesn't mean we ever want to see any player actually get hurt

Really it was only about a handful come on man
-
The handful counts, they are still Raptors fans no matter how small the percentage. Around here we hold even the smallest % accountable.

I’m thinking the Raptors fans were “cheering” because KD was lucky to get injured while in Canada, because they have Universal Healthca....okay, that’s a reach. My bad.

Its a sign of respect in Canada to clap when an injured player gets up. It started as a hockey thing. It means we hope you are ok. Same thing happened after VanVleet’s injury.
-
True. We do it at my son’s hockey and lacrosse games too. Not everything is about malice.

There might have been a few clowns in the beginning but by the end of it, practically the whole stadium was cheering him walking off.

This is a bad take. Not all Toronto Raptors were cheering on his injury. Come on
