This is how America’s streets should look everyday after 40 years of both Dems/Repubs selling the American dream to corporate interests, allowing wages to flatline, allowing speculation in the housing/food market and waging never ending war. So much to protest BEFORE Trump came.

You're right and, unfortunately, this speaks to one of the major reasons I could not support Bernie. The only way his policies would be enacted...according to his own supporters...would be via massive general strike level protests nationwide. I just don't see that happening here.

If only. Compassion and empathy are required for mass movements and those things are in short supply among a dispiriting number of Americans.

Yes and should've been like that when Obama was filling his govt with Wall St execs too, which helped generate an inequality crisis.
