I could not have faith in that schools administration anymore... I would have to disenroll my child immediately. I hope the parents watching and in attendance feel the same way. How could they care about your child and giving them the proper education?

The part that really just sort of confuses me is the self-deputizing for censorship. Like... who is the principle answerable to if a valedictorian says something politically contentious? What is at risk for him?

By cutting her mic, he amplified her voice. We might not otherwise know of this brilliant and compassionate young woman if not for the principal's cowardice. Then again, she was likely to be exalted at some point nonetheless.
