It's worrying if he thinks he does, because to me that suggests the DNC have assured him he does.

And if any of them think ANY of this is "in the bag," they are doomed to hand it to Trump. We need a candidate that has massive voter enthusiasm. We want someone qualified for the job, AND we want fresh ideas and we still need the swamp creatures and policies removed and fixed.
-
Psst: theyre fine with that

He would skip the debates if he thought he could get away with it. But he will go and say as little as possible and ramble in about dignity and how trump is bad but the systems that got us to trump aren’t bad

-
“Obama good. Trump bad. I vote like a republican so vote for me!”-biden’s stump speech
-
He doesn’t realize how voters have evolved. The DNC promoting these policy scarce candidates have learned nothing

-
Their donors pay them well to learn nothing.

@joebiden is replaying 2016 verbatim. Avoid the press, Avoid talk shows, Avoid the public. Attend CLOSED DOOR wall street fund raisers, Speak in generalities and that he's not Trump. The only thing missing is the elevating Trump part. - 1 more reply

My dude, in a trial last year the DNC said they could simply select the candidate after everyone votes against him, and that would be cool because they are a private corporation with no obligation to the voters. We should focus on local and Congress, cause the Presidency is lost.
-
They then changed the rules. The superdelegates don’t have a vote until the second round of voting at the convention. This is what they are hoping for, and why there is so many candidates. They want to muddy the water so there isn’t a majority winner

Its not about being in the bag, its every time he opens his mouth he loses a little support so they are putting a sock in it and keeping him safe from himself for as long as possible.
-
That was essentially the Clinton playbook. Hillary was never more popular than she was when she first announced her run. As people heard her speak, her support faded. Same is true of Biden. It is a ballistic campaign now, and they hope he has enough momentum to carry him.
-
Hillary had such a huge advantage starting out they could play it that way because Bernie didn't really look the thrat until 2016, but we are still in the first half of 2019 and I don't think they can pull that for 1.x years like they did for a few months last time.

It is almost as if Joe Biden believes he is … entitled … to the nomination and attending events that draw voters is beneath him.
-
Yes, that type of campaign worked out so well for Hillary in 2016
-
She won. Both the nomination and the general (so I am told).
-
She lost the three states she needed to win the electoral college.
