That ANYBODY looks at what we are experiencing in this country (and around the world) right now and determines that what we need to do is meet people in the middle is astounding to me. Only a first class level of aloofness could see 2019 and decide to go to the middle.

I keep asking myself, what is the middle ground between corruption and not corrupt? What is the middle ground between justice and injustice? What is the middle ground between life and death? If there even was such a thing, is that really a place you want to be?
Ppl 65 years and older have been through worst than what is going on now in this country (especially is they’re Black). The irony of calling a class of ppl aloof by making an appeal for them to vote outside their political framework because of said conditions is being aloof.

My fear is that it seems like the current Dem leadership actually does see the writing on the wall, but they don't want to lose power, so they're going to just throw everything behind Biden and moderate candidates down the line to try and keep control of the party.
