Back in economics class, we called this the laziness quotient. Higher socialism scores mean less willingness to work hard. It’s more of an advantage for the pure capitalist than it is an indicator anywhere else because it will most likely never come to fruition.

What u think happens when yall implement it and then then GOP takes over or keep control of the Govt?

Yet most are unable to properly define neither socialism or capitalism. Irony, the US is not pure capitalism as it is now.

That's somewhat hard to believe. Read Don Watson's American Journeys. He spoke with many Americans and they were deeply hostile to socialism in any form.

America's don't know we live in a heavy socialist society, we have socialist ideas such as police, firefighters, schools. So the stupid ones are the ones completely bashing it. Ps Democratic Socialism works everywhere, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany etc.

The @DNC needs to get their head around that fact. #democraticsocialists CAUCUS with @TheDemocrats because to operate within the system means a binary choice. But if the party continues to dismiss socialist values while our numbers grow, a break to a 3rd party will be inevitable

Careful with polls. A gigh percentage of Americans don't believe Black Lives Matters. I think people believe in SOME socialism being applied in areas such as health and education. Be careful of being labeled. I don't let people label me as liberal because I'm not.

Hell yes. And It's important we all put in the effort to increase that number.

Guess why. Because 43% of past five years college grads are underemployed ("Fortune" Aug. 2018) with no end in sight. Because of daily big downsizings of good-wage jobs, many industries, all past month (LayoffsNews @LayoffsN). In a so-called "booming" economy.

To be fair, social democracy but it's a start I suppose...
