A lot of lies, particularly from @JoeBiden, are being told about the 1994 Crime Bill. He was the primary author of it and advocate for it.
He said this week that it didn't impact mass incarceration.
Watch this scene from 13th where they make clear that it did exactly that.pic.twitter.com/Up4YaSyUp6

@JoeBiden. I want you to watch the whole video. He was the primary congressional pit bull for this horrible bill.pic.twitter.com/LDGVqwAgLS

@JoeBiden says the 1994 Crime Bill had NOTHING to do w/ states. He's even having his surrogates go out and say the exact same lie. But I need you to hear 1995@JoeBiden. He literally WROTE THE LAWS making sure that states were required to be harsh in order to get funding.pic.twitter.com/eYYRpYgC4DJoe Biden Bragging That States Will Now All Have Mandatory MinimumsThis week Joe Biden said that his 1994 Crime Bill DID NOT IMPACT STATES. Yesterday something truly painful happened. A dozen activists wrote me saying they were sick to their stomachs seeing it. The Biden campaign asked
@SymoneDSanders to say that the crime bill only impacted states. At 1:37 the anchor called their bluff.pic.twitter.com/tKupcvBf7SShow this thread -

Sorry, Shaun. I’ve been a fan of yours for awhile, but you’ve gone full speed down the rabbit hole. Liking Bernie is great; attacking other Dem candidates? Not so much.
-
Since when is there a ban on attacking the very problematic records of candidates in a primary? That’s the whole point of the competition in an election! Candidates spar over issues and their records to show people who should win.

Did they mention Bernie Sanders voted for and supported 100% of that bill until 2015. Did they mention Bernie Sanders ran on his Crime Bill vote as the tough on crime candidate in 2006. Tell me Shaun did they discuss that.

So what’s your answer to the FACT that Bernie Sanders voted for this?
-
He doesn't have one..... Shaun is partly responsible for Trump being in office.
