Lemme tell you, I learned SO very much from listening to this episode. Hearing Uncle Joe speak so forcefully re: locking people up, with such a hateful &, I'll say it, racist undertone. And to hear him defend this bill just two years ago... Hurtful. Terrible.
The 94 crime bill is something to be proud of. The casualty rate in LA was about the same as the initial Iraq invasion numbers. Something had to be done. Crime rates have steadily dropped since. Mass crime = Mass incarceration.
I agree with you point. I live near DC and I remember that body count every night but as mature adult-why couldn’t @JoeBiden admit that we did or best but it also hurt Black and Brown communities and this how I will fix. Why is that hard?
For two reasons 1)he didn't and doesn't care. That it hurt those groups. 2) he has no plans to fix it..he might do worse if given the chance.
Given the the chance he might just do something. Let's not forget, the bill also helped African American and Latino communities as well.
Which bill would that be? Hopefully you don't mean the crime bill, that bill is why black and brown people are being gunned down in the streets today. That bill ushered the media to portray black and brown as dangerous criminals, being dragged into stations, etc.

If politicians are to continue to be our leaders, we need to be able to make decisions based on truth, anything other than truth should be considered a grave crime against the people, banning them for life, our futures are too important.

The best thing Joe has going for him is his likability. The next best thing is that he is not Trump. The best thing for all of the world is for the Democrats to select a quality candidate regardless of likability, which is often a mask for lack of substance.

I take serious issue with MSM warping poll results to discourage supporters of other candidates while glazing over just how bad Biden's record truly is . I compare rally sizes and preach that all the corporate money that is being tossed Biden's way won't buy enthusiasm.
