I spent yesterday speaking to older voters about Joe Biden. In one new poll Biden leads older voters 55% to 7% against Bernie. When I ask older voters what policies and plans they love from Biden, they openly admit it's not about that for them. They don't even know his plans.
I said this before. It was true for me yesterday when I spoke to Biden supporters. When I speak to Biden's supporters about what they love about him - even when I tell them he was the modern architect of mass incarceration... They mention Obama in the first 2-3 sentences.

He's a likeable, amiable guy and I'll vote for him in the general. But we really need a more progressive candidate.
I kind of think of him as a one-term president with a young progressive vp taking over.
If he wins the presidency in 2020, he would be the nominee in 2024. Democrats wouldn't even consider forgoing the weight of incumbency. To think otherwise is pure fantasy.
old voters dont have critical thinking skills, they watch tv more than younger people.
How can this be changed? Biden isn't even in my top 5. Old people need to wake up, or this is going to be Hillary all over. Bernie is heads and shoulders better for all people.

Perhaps it’s a regional thing - my organizing for Warren group was evenly split in every way age and diversity — and we were all drawn to her because of policy. This was a group of abt 20 b/f Biden jumped in but we talked about him. Everyone laughed. We’re in the Silicon Valley.
Well we got Trump because of closet racists and Putin so not surprising. But in all fairness to Obama he makes everyone look good.

Yep. It's all about getting the young vote out there. They need a reason to participate and Bernie energizes them like no other candidate. The older crowd will continue to vote for the establishment. It's what they do.

They also don't like Bernie's policies though. I've had this conversation with my family and patients of that generation.
