I don’t think Biden actually believes this. More likely it’s strategic. In a field full of Dems saying, “screw the GOP...we’re doubling down on going left,” Biden is signaling he is The Moderate in the field. This rubs Liberal Twitter the wrong way, but appeals to ~60% of Dems

This is literally hurting my brain and making me more wary of Trump having four more years. Not-Trump will not be good enough with the way Biden is talking, making not-voting more justified (for non-voters) if Biden is nom in the end. It's like nothing was learned. AT ALL.
