I will say this over and over and over again. It is going to be a HUGE mistake for older Democrats to give a big FUCK YOU to younger voters going into the General Election. You will not beat Trump without the youthful energy (and votes) of voters 18-39.
Bernie’s campaign really needs to highlight all the funding he has gotten for seniors’ programs. HUGE missed opportunity. He’s done as much for seniors as vets and it’s never talked about.
Also need to bring focus on how he wants to expand Medicare & increase funding to SS, in contrast to Biden who doesn't support either & a wanted to cut back SS.
In NH today #Biden stole (plagiarized) Bernie's top speaking points--including his warning that GOP would take the Trump tax cuts & later say we need to cut SS, Medicare, social safety net, & his exact talking point re climate change is "existential threat, and more! #NeverBiden!

Exactly, the argument "but young people don't turn out to vote," is pretty self fulfilling when you keep nominating people who they don't want to vote for.

Picking a candidate favored by people under 50 seems like a good idea. Let's just hope that that turnout is massive among young people to offset the amount of older people voting
