Perhaps the Police Departments in the United States needs to be Shut Down and re-evaluated.

I had been trying to get this story to you, thank you so much. The officer is trying to get his job back and we cant let that happen.

There was another officer and a social worker from Summit Point Behavior Health present. They watched Collins USE EXCESSIVE FORCE against this child and did nothing to stop it. The community is outraged!!

For once I agree with you. The cop was completely ill-equipped to handle a situation involving someone with those kind of mental issues. There should be a policy put in place to require a mental health expert on the scene to deal with cases like these.

My Alma Mater. I knew for a fact there were a few crooked one’s my entire stay at Albion College. (From a lot of my local, non-Albion college friends) Tyler shouldn’t have been able to be a cop, based on the energy he exerted toward minority’s.

It would be the responsible thing to do to send a mental health professional to the scene when someone is having a psychological episode, with maybe police assistance. unfortunately most cops aren’t there to deescalate a suggestion their there to escalate.

I was told this morning that because Georgia is trying to pass a heartbeat bill, that we should not be paying attention to past or current events like this. Anyone care to point out what's wrong with that thinking?
